Re-caching a stream

Hi
I have a very narrow bandwidth network.
I stream movies but few minutes later the picture is frozen and no sound.
If i set a caching time to very high (eg. 33000 ms) i can watch the stream much longer time.
Is it possible to re-caching the stream automatically if the buffer getting empty.
