I am able to stream videos to other computers on my network by connecting to http://192.168.1.25:8080.
I have now port forwarded 8080 udp and tcp and yet when my friends connect to XX.XX.XX.XX:8080 it refuses to connect.
Can someone please help?

For you friends to be able to access your stream from the internet you need port 80 as well to be forwarded.
Secondly you need to install a web server so it can act as a server on your pc, then your friends will become your clients.
