Hauppage USB mpeg2 encoder with VLC?

Postby anse » 25 Jul 2005 13:54

Anyone know if this http://www.hauppage.com/pages/products/ ... rusb2.html works when using VLC to stream an UDP stream mpeg-2 without transcoding in Win XP?

Will VLC recognize the mpeg-2 stream from this USB-device? I want to save my laptop for the CPU-consuming mpeg-2 transcoding..

Are there any other external mpeg-2 encoders that are supported in VLC? USB devices etc..

Hallo,
You can Stream mgp2 over Network with Windows XP if you already installed TS_Reader and VLC!
It works!
