transcode MOV file to H264 TS file

Hi,

I want to transcode a quicktime HD mov file to a H264 TS file, I used the vlc wizard to do it, somehow the video downscale to SD, can someone show me how to do the MOV to H264/TS transcaode by using vlc command without losing teh video quality?

i am not sure, but somehow you have to change the muxxing as you do not need to recompress at quicktime HD is already in h264 format most likely (99%). Anyways, VLC can probably do this, as a stream dump or something, maybe mplayer, or a dedicated program for re-muxing a file.
