RTP command line streaming problem

Hi - I can't get RP streaming to work using the command line. My command is:

vlc -vvv input_stream --sout '#rtp{dst=144.254.158.250,port=1234,sdp=file://vidtest1.mpeg}'

The debug messages are:

Are you using Windoes? I think you'll need to remove the quotes from the command line on Windows.

what's "input_stream" ?

"input_stream" should be the location of the file you want to stream, not literally the words "input_stream."

ex. --> vlc -vvv vidtest1.mpeg (etc.)
