Repeating of connection to the source streaming

I am streaming using VLC from Windows media Encoder, sometimes source is unavailable and the VLC is missing connection it seems that in this case VLC don’t connect to the source again.

How to set VLC to reconnect to the source?

I have the same problem. Always after VLC loses connection about four try of reconnect are performed. Then this line in Messages window occurs:

main: nothing to play

And no another trying to connect is performed. Manual start is necessary.
This is the reason I cannot use this program.

Is there really no feature how to force VLC try infinite reconnects ?
