Yes it is, what you need is a server to get media from and VLC CE/PocketPC on your hand held device. Once you have VLC on your mobile device there are a few way you can go about streaming to yourself. Either use the VLM and HTTP as the protocol or figure out some other way if you want a more detailed explanation of how I do it let me know its quite a lengthy task but I can get full cable television streamed to my Pocket PC anywhere I am. so long as I have EVDO/Broadband Access

I would like to do it without client on my PocketPC. I would like to use Windows Media Player for it!
