Streaming live TV with win2k and Hauppauge 150

Postby pick-master » 19 Jun 2006 18:37

Hello,

I have the Hauppauge 150 on a Win2k machine. I am just wondering if anyone with the same setting was able to stream live TV. I am able to stream video but no sound. What do I have to do to get both (sound and video) working using DirectShow?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Hi, i had the same problem with the PVR-150 (no sound).

I've found a workaround witch is suitable for me.

check the website http://www.wintvcap-gui.de.vu/ for more info.

it works like this

WinTVCap -> Gui -> VLC

After u started to record with wintvcap-gui, hit on the videolanplayer to watch the stream.

Then use the Streaming assistant, the source will be the actual file, and u got the stream with sound.

If u expierence any problems, write it down, i might help you.

cheers

Thanks notorius,

It’s working like a charm, I had to download some other pkgs as well but everything was there so it's perfect.

Thanks again,
