UDP via HTTP

Postby HaaRviK » 16 Mar 2004 12:36

Is it possible to have a web page with links to UDP multicast addresses? In other words, if I were streaming a few channels, and wanted to take the playlist and convert it to a web page and make the multicast MRL a hyperlink, would that work? If so, what would the link syntax look like?

Thanks

You have got to be kidding me....no one else has wanted or successfully tried to do this? Geez, I would think that if you can get a playlist from the sap announce, then it shouldn't be too hard to transpose that into an html format or some other gui (tcl/tk ?) so that the playlist could be launched so you have a nice menu to choose your channel from.
