Streaming from a PC with 2 network connections

Postby Valeren » 01 Feb 2006 14:41

Hi there,
I apologize for my english.

I'm having some problem while streaming from my PC to a not configurable STB.
The PC is connected via wifi to a router.
Both the router and the STB (ethernet) are usually connected to a gateway.

To stream I'd like to have the STB and the PC directly conneted.
If I connect the PC to the STB using a cross patch AND I disable the network connection, it works like a charm.
When I enable again the wifi, it stops working immediatly.
How can I tell to VLC to use only the ethernet connection for the output???

Thanks in advance,
Valeren

Try see
in Windows:
route print

in other OS:
netstat -rn

Before and after reconnect :)

Return to “VLC stream-output (sout)”
