Playback speed adjusted then and re-record same track possible?

Hi. I have a song which needs to be sped up a little, I have managed to do this but can`t work out how to record the track so it plays at the faster speed. However I did manage to record it but when played back the audio stutters. I sped it up to 1.05 so nothing silly. Thanks. Rhurbarb
