Multicast Iptv

Postby C3tech » 05 Mar 2018 21:28

Hi, I'm trying hard to create streaming streams using Multicast on my server, I can get the flow running 100%. But it only works locally, is there any way I can send that stream to clients out of my local network?
The child multicast part of the network I am correct to exact but I would like a tutorial to send out of this my network

This is entirely dependent on your network.

What do you mean, my friend? my router is cleared for multicast or IGMP which is an acronym used for this within that medium.
I'm trying to use the RTP format to stream a live stream but I see that it only works locally and not for the other users I wanted to stream.
Is multicast only works local or can it really be transferred to the entire internet? Does this process require anything special to do?

I see that there is a new program called multicl of vlc but I did not know how to use it
I can create live streams using rtsp, http since I know they are unicast so they work out of my local internet without problems, but the rtp udp do not work yet
