How is this possible to stream live tv channel using VLC?

Postby surakura » 22 Feb 2018 20:20

Hello folks, I was exploring some articles on some reputable websites and I found a article that shares the live tv stream on VLC. After that also search online about how to stream live tv program online using VLC media player but didn't found any good article that can explain me in details.

However, I recently found a website that offer live tv program streaming using vlc but as always some buggy --please stay polite--*** there was no instruction for it unless subscribed. The website which I dropped at is https://www.oscarupdate.org/.

Now my question to this community is:
  • Is it actually possible to stream live tv program in VLC?
  • If it is, Then is there need any additional hardware or need to have an active cable subscription?
Thanks folks, looking forward to reply....

VLC can stream TV if your computer has a supported digital TV tuner. But it takes some amount of manual configuration to do so.
