Stream dvb-t

Postby alex0751 » 23 Nov 2017 23:54

Hi all,
I have this need:
I own a dvb-t dongle by which I would like to receive tv signals and stream them over my LAN.
What I need is the ability to change channel and for that I thought I could use the vlc web interface (using a m3u playlist for example).
The problem is that I couldn't get the stream keep going on, while I change the dvb-t mux, so, each time I change channel, I need to restart the stream reception on my client.
The idea would be that one of having a continous stream (like a carrier) in which I can insert a new channel each time I select a new mux from the web interface: this way I should not have to start again the reception on my client.
I know it's not so clear, so please ask me if you need more info.
Thank you all.

--sout-keep is the option you need.
