Invalid PCR Delay

Postby bishamon » 15 Dec 2005 07:03

I am trying to reduce the delay of my webcam streaming. One solution I found from the forum is to reduce some parameters in the Preferences menu. In MPEG TS, PCR, the default is 70. I tried to reduce it down to 1. Well, it's ok. But when I checked the Debug messages, I got this:

mux_ts error: invalid pcr delay (1ms) resetting to 70ms
mux_ts debug: shaping=1000 pcr=70000 dts_delay=1000

Well, that's fine. So I increased it a little bit trying to remove this error until out of desperation I put the default value back to 70. Luckily, I still got the weird error:

mux_ts error: invalid pcr delay (70ms) resetting to 70ms
mux_ts debug: shaping=1000 pcr=70000 dts_delay=1000

What the? Now I'm lost. Can someone explain this?

Thanks a lot,
