One to one desktop streaming with VLC

Postby TeeQ » 03 May 2017 20:28

I'm looking for some basic guidance to get started doing 1:1 desktop streaming through VLC. I've played around a bit with HTTP streaming through VLC, but due to NAT issues on the recording machine I can't connect externally. I'd like to push the stream from VLC to some media server stack and then hopefully I can connect and play the stream through an HTML5 player.

Any suggestions on the best media server stack to use for this? Sorry if this is a bit out of the scope of VLC, but just looking for some expertise.
