Commandline linux multicast stream a file without transcoing

Postby keeper187 » 13 Jul 2016 21:06

Hey Guys,

Is there a vlc-guru, which could get me my streaming running?

I searched for hours, but nothing realy worked.

I would like to stream a mp4 file (h264) without transcoding in my local network. It should run via cvlc command. I want to use rtsp or rtp.

Can you please post me a short example... Server and client side.

Sadly i found just examples via gui... But i want to start it via bash script.

Thanks you

Br
