Play multicast from different sources

Postby diegofn » 31 Mar 2016 20:45

Hi to all.

Currently I am receiving a multicast voice traffic on the multicast address: 224.1.1.1:24820 and VLC play it fine using rtp://@224.1.1.1:24820 parameter.
However I need mix two streaming audio send to this multicast address on VLC from two or three different IP address.

When I tried to play I only listen one stream and the second I receive "too many rtp sessions" warning message. Is there any way to play this mix streams on VLC?
Thanks for your help.

Best regards

In most cases, no. VLC cannot sync streams coming from different sources.

Thanks Remi,

Can you suggest me one tool that sync two or three audio streams on multicast?

Best regards.
