rtp + SDP streaming in Debian squeeze with vlc

Postby mirzaaaamir » 12 Dec 2012 10:59

Hi All

I have successfully run this scenario in windows based machine. Presently, I bought DVB-S card (TBS6984 Quad Port) and I want to achieve the same on this too. Transponders and locked, Channels are scanned and I can play them from VLC player.

When I run the command it gives me a lot of error with D-Bus error too. Can anybody guide me, how to get rid of this error and how to create sdp file for live capture from DVB-S cards?

BR!

I am posting a command here, I thought it may help some one...Now I am trying to get it for 3 different destinations (Streaming Servers). If there is some one, Please help. Here is my working command for Debian Squeeze with VLC 2.0.1for DVB-S card TBS 6984.

cvlc dvb-s:// :program=3 :dvb-srate=7234000 :dvb-caching=30000 :dvb-frequency=3959000 :dvb-adapter=3 :dvb-polarisation="V" :dvb-srate=7234000 :sout='#duplicate{dst="transcode{venc=x264{keyint=60,idrint=2},vcodec=h264,vb=300,acodec=mp4a,ab=32,channels=2,samplerate=22050}:rtp{dst=192.168.44.5,port=1234,sdp=file:///home/mark/vlc.sdp}"}'

Return to “VLC stream-output (sout)”
