No AVI output ?

Postby xerces8 » 22 Aug 2005 15:14

When I choose "Stream Output" "to File", there is no "AVI" choice for encapsulation method. Why ?
Many others are supported, so why not AVI ?

I know AVI sux a bit, but still ...

I have VLC 0.8.2 on win.

the AVI muxer in VLC (as well as AVI) sucks (you even said it :) ). Hence we decided not to include it in the Streaming Wizard or Stream Output dialog. You can still using by using the mux=avi command.
