VLC with Debian unstable

Postby lucas » 28 Apr 2005 14:04

Hi everyone.

I've got a problem with VLC on my Debian sid. I can stream a video from my computer to a Windows one (except h264, I don't know why) in unicast with udp, but anytime I try to receive a stream from a Debian or Windows computer, I get a segmentation error from VLC. I don't get another significant error message, even with the -vvvv option.
Have you got a solution ?

Thanks.

I use Sarge VLC 0.8.2 and have the same problems. I suspect FFMPEG but I am absoluteley not sure. We seem to get ignored because we're on eiter testing or unstable. I havenot pbroblem trying this under woody.

if you have any new information let us know.

OJ
