transcoding and streaming

Hi all,

I was trying to make vlc do the following in background (without graphical interface)

- Receive a stream from a server in MPEG2-TS and transcode it to RTMP, so a couple of flash clients can display this stream.

Does anyone have done this previously? What might the command and parameters to issue?
