0.8.6: MP4A audio transcoding problem

Postby amped » 23 Oct 2009 07:57

Getting trouble transcoding MP4A (AAC) audio string to MP2 or MP3 audio (getting clicks on output file) with VLC 0.8.6.
Is that specific 0.8.6 version trouble or I need to change some codec settings?

P.S. When playing that file in VLC (without transcoding) I'am getting normal sound.

I'm getting the same problem exactly. I tried latest VLC 1.0.3, but it doesn't help. Transcoding from mp4a to mpga (MP2) produces noises and clicks at the output, and I also get this log messages:

...
[0x96fc900] access_output_udp access out warning: putting two PCRs at once
[0x96fc900] access_output_udp access out warning: putting two PCRs at once

Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanx
