Loop option is not working for broadcast stream in VLM

Postby Kris » 28 Jan 2005 13:23

Hi,

I'm still "fighting" with VLM to send streams. VLC is registered as Windows service with http interface. I managed to set one broadcast stream. I have problem with loop option for this stream. This option is set, but it's not working. When I press play on the VLM page, the stream is started, but it's played only one time.
Any help needed.

Greetings,
Kris

Hi!

I agree that LOOP is not working properly in the latest version (0.8.1). What is more strange is that if you have the LOOP enabled, i.e.

new channel1 broadcast loop enabled

once it finished playing the first time, you can't even restart the media using the VLM command "control channel1 play". However, if you don't have LOOP, i.e.

new channel1 broadcast enabled

VLM is quite happy to restart the media when you issue the same command.

Hi! Anyone can confirm or deny if this is a known bug in the system? If not, are we doing anything wrong? If yes, is there a solution?
