streaming mpeg using vod feature in VLc

hi all
i tried to stream mpeg file using vod and the web server is iis (windows xp) but nothing happened

what is the problem, does VLC or VLS streams mpeg or avi using VOD
not broadcasting.
any ideas

Hi Student4Ever,

I'm pretty new to all this streaming stuff but I found that I had to set the mime types before I could stream using http. I'm using Apache as I run WinXP Home which doesn't come with IIS.
