VLC should be able to play such stream like charm. If 0.7.2 does not work, try out a 0.8.0-beta (it's able to play that for sure).

Thank you!
It seems that stream files must be hinted on DarwingStreamingServer. And how to add hint track to h.264 mp4 file?
Is hint track necessary for any streaming server?

VLC do not need a hint track. Don't think vlc can create hint tracks either.
