Getting Java.exe error while conneting to a rtsp stream.

Hi All,

I using VLC player version 0.8.6f for connecting to a RTSP stream. But if the URL is not valid or the streaming server is not up.
I am getting a Java.exe error as a popup and VLC Player crashes.
When i am using the version 0.8.6d , getting the same error , but with less frequency.
I have written a java swing based client application in which i embed the VLC player. Now the java.exe error is coming over the top of my client application.

Kindly tell me if there is a way, i can handle this exception in my application. So that i dont get this java.exe error and prevent VLC Player from crashing ?
Also kindly tell me the cause of this exception.
