need to stream vlc output to freebox

sure it's a noob question, but i didnt find suitable answers
I'm aware of "Homeplayer" and things like that (ive tried and it works, so so), but i'd like to use the normal "simple"vlc.
I'd like to open a file on my pc (dvd or divx etc) and stream this to the freebox hd which is connected via cpl.
I guess I'd just have to enter the box ip somewhere (where ?), but i guess there are other parameters (normalizing video size or something)
