Capturing a h264 live stream to HD

Postby ddwaner » 13 Nov 2007 05:17

Is there something special that has to be done to get the VLC to capture a live rtsp h264 stream to HD and later play it back watchable. So far I can get data to the HD but the VLC will not replay the data for viewing, I have gotten the audio but NO video is played back from the recorded data. Here is the address of the stream I want to capture rtsp://video2.americafree.tv/AFTVSciFiH264500.sdp . Most of the area's I have found about this problem indicates that there is a problem in the VLC's h264 :sout setup. To check stream save even this ":sout=#duplicate{dst=display}" wont produce a picture with the VLC. Any Idea's whats wrong???? Or How to fix it??? :?:
