Configuration for AmiNET 110

Postby kosowar » 04 Sep 2007 02:22

I just bought A110 but don't know hot to begin streaming from VLC. I connected my PC and Amino to a HUB for this test. I tried some counfigurations from this forum but nothing hepled me. I don't need to stream a file, I need te stream my playlist that I'm actualy playing (with logo) and even if I add files during play. So please tell me someone from beginning what I have all to do in VLC and AmiNET?

Thank You

its working with as below:

the stream out must be udp://224.1.1.1:1111 (only example)

in the URL on your 110 type igmp://224.1.1.1:1111

i think this will work.

note im using 110h

I tried this but all i get is a black screen :S

Do I have to change or add something in AMINET Network Configuration?

What do I have to chack in DHCP, IP Adress, Netmask, Gateway?

Is there something else I have to configure to Aminet or should everything be automatic via LAN?

Weh I try to stream a fila from PC to PC it works fine, but in AmiNET I get this black screen, nothing else.

Thnx

let me understand one thing. is your STB reaching your server, try to access any web page from your server (if you have web server) if not you have to configure your stb network settings by clicking Ctrl+M on the STB keyboard to open managment console
