Sir,
We want to use VLC to stream output of screen capture software "camtasia studio". VLC identifies this as a video source, it allows streaming in udp and transcode with mpv4. but problem is it shoots up to 100% cpu load. can u advice something.

Likely because of the high resolution of the end result video.
Try to scale it down with the "scale" option in the transcoding panel.
Transcoding is very CPU demanding so don't expect low CPU useage anyway.

And by the way, VLC now has a screen capture input (viewtopic.php?t=3411).

thank u very much for your reply. Is it possible to stream from one pc to another over LAN without trnscoding? if yes, how?
