Can't stream over internet

Postby trav1085 » 12 Apr 2007 08:08

I'm using Windows XP, I'v finally managed to stream video to my second computer over a network via UDP unicast, but I can't get it over the internet.

I have read the how-to, but it hasn't worked for me. I'll choose a video I want to stream, but how should I choose it to stream? Can I use UDP and still have it broadcasted over shoutcast, how do I name the streams such as the others do in shoutcast, do I change the SAP announce (although assuming that's just for the SAP accounce) to the title I want?

Since if I stream via HTTP, I have to set an IP, but I use the domain zentec.ath.cx, can I enter that instead of my IP? It's easier to remember.
