Very basic question

Postby Zante » 08 Apr 2007 20:15

Hello all.

I'm using the unreal live server and VLC is able to read the input via "Open Capture Device".

How can I convert this stream into a *.mov, not for recording but so people can access the stream via the mov file?

Edit: I'm going to be using DNS2go in order to make a specific directory accessible via a web address.

Thank you for your time.

in order to save the video in a file :

in stream out, select "file"..give a file name ...

any format will be ok if u just want to allow your users to download the mov file;

but if u want to allow your user to watch the video using a browser online, select a format that your user's browser (IE? FF? ) can re-play...

good day ..
