Issue with playlist using Fake:

Postby FireW0lf » 27 Mar 2007 18:59

Hi all

I am using Fake: to create a testcard scenario for an mmsh stream, so that people have something to connect to while waiting for a film to start

The second item in my playlist is the film, and I made sure that the output type of the fake: testcard is exactly the same as the output of the film (codec, mux, fps, width, height - all same), and all clients see the testcard fine, yet when I issue a "next" the clients stop, and have to manually connect again, which kinda defeats the purpose of my testcard...

Am I missing something, or just plain doing it wrong?

Thanks in advance

Try adding the --sout-keep option to your command line (and it should work like a charm :) )
