Postby gring » 04 Mar 2007 22:06

Link to Howto not found ( error 404)
http://www.videolan.org/doc/stream-howto/en/

I dont run vlc for stream radio from DVB-S ( SkyStar 2 rev 2.6 ) to my home network.

My configurations

Linux CentOS 4.4
Kernel 2.6.18.3 with DVB-S card support
SkyStar2
Sat - Eutelsat 36 E
./szap -c channels.ntv -n 1
reading channels from file 'channels.ntv'
zapping to 1 'DFM':
sat 0, frequency = 12284 MHz H, symbolrate 27500000, vpid = 0x0000, apid = 0x01a5
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
status 00 | signal 0000 | snr 6927 | ber 0000fff0 | unc 00000000 |
status 1f | signal baf5 | snr d6c5 | ber 0000fff0 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK
status 1f | signal bb32 | snr d6b6 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK

Download last version vlc-0.8.6a & ffmpeg_source
ffmpeg
./configure --enable-shared --enable-pp
make
( dont make install)
Then
vlc-0.8.6a

./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-madi --enable-ffmpeg --enable-shared --enable-shared-pp --enable-pp --enable-gpl --disable-rpath --disable-nls --disable-wxwidgets --enable-alsa --disable-skins2 --enable-dvb --enable-v4l --disable-gnomevfs --disable-screen --disable-speex --disable-x11 --disable-xvideo --disable-glx --disable-opengl --disable-sdl --disable-visual --disable-joystik --with-dvbpsi=/usr/local/dvb/vls/libdvbpsi3-0.1.4 --with-ffmpeg-tree=/usr/local/dvb/vlc/ffmpeg_source/

Then
make
make install

vlc compiled without errors and installed

I can run vlc with string ( + any warios )

vlc -vvv --color --ttl 12 --ts-es-id-pid --programs=8508,8505 dvb: --dvb-adapter=1 --dvb-frequency=12284000 --dvb-srate=27500000 --dvb-voltage=18 --dvb-lnb-lof1=10750000 --dvb-lnb-lof2=10750000 --sout-standard-access=udp --sout-standard-mux=ts

You can try with this line

Code: Select all

vlc dvb:// :dvb-adapter=0 :dvb-frequency=12284000 :dvb-srate=27500000 :program=XXXX
replace XXXX with the number ID of your radio

Mark 1: Don't use VLC in root

Mark 2: You can test your Tuner with

Code: Select all

./szap -c channels.ntv -n 1 -r
-r for send to the /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0
and

Code: Select all

mplayer /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0
