File Explorer VLC context menu suggestion

If you have a Windows directory containing media files, and you want to play them all or queue them all up, an easy way to do this is to right-click the directory in the navigation pane on the left in File Explorer and select the appropriate VLC item in the context menu.
What would make this even easier is if you could right click the empty space in the directory contents view on the right instead, and have those same directory-related context items appear.
Making this change would mean that you wouldn't have to unhide the navigation pane if hidden, or tab to or mouse-move to the navigation pane before using the directory-related context menu items.
Visual Studio Code works this way, and it makes working with VS Code much easier. Right clicking a file allows actions on that file. Right clicking empty space allows actions on the directory.
