VLC PLAYER IN WINDOWS10

VLC has been added as an APP in Windows10. However the version added appears to have a low quality video content and does not feature all previously offered features such as snapshots and cutting video lengths. Is this the deliberate intent or is my download faulty?

It's a different app, different code so different feature set. Use the classic desktop one (not Store) if it does not meet your needs.

Windows10 has cleverly arranged so that the classic desktop VLC cannot easily or directly be used. That was why I was asking.

I have no idea what that means.

Go to https://get.videolan.org/vlc/3.0.6/win6 ... -win64.exe

MISTAKE, OR update

I now withdraw the original entry. I have installed a new VLC player and it both cuts and snapshots files, but with slightly revised signals from those used in previous versions that I have used.
