Xbox one VLC can't enter authentication for SMB share

Hi there,
I have issues with login into smb on NAS Synology, Tplink Archer D9 and my laptop. When there is no login I can read files and play them, but when there is authentication on the Xbox windows login I tried to enter I reckon everything possible combination but it simply does not work. I do not have a domain, but I tried WORKGROUP as well, nothing. Can anybody solve that mystery, please?

Can you try logging in from a VLC app on another device (Android, iOS, Windows classic) and check if it works?

Ok, it seems I solved the issues. First on pc VLC worked perfectly, log in to my Synology NAS on samba without any problems. So I google a few days and my son pop in with some idea that maybe samba on NAS is "to fancy" and VLC on XB1 is using some simple protocol or something. So I decreased samba level on NAS from Samba 2 to Samba 1 and ...... everything starts working !. No VLC read smoothly like a butter NAS directory and log in with an eye blink.
So all good now and maybe some lesson to learn left.

Just to add more I increased samba to 2 again and still vlc can log in to Synology and read files, great. When I log out any tried log in problem came back, lowered samba logged and all works.
To sum up it must be some tricky log in protocol on samba 2 in Synology settings. Anyway I worked out good solution so maybe saved some headaches
