Hi all,
I suspect know the answer, but with VLC on the Xbox One, is there anyway to navigate the menus when playing a DVD ISO image file?

I see it can play the ISO, but I suspect it's only useful if the disk is a single auto-playing video with no menus.

I don't think we can support DVD menus yet with the current Windows SDK. Do you know of any Xbox app that can do this? (besides the official closed-source Microsoft I guess)

I'm surprised that the SDK would be a limiting factor here. I've never looked into Windows Universal or whatever this platform is called, but I just assumed that once an app had access to the data file, the control inputs and the audio/video output, anything it did with the data was implemented in platform-independent code like in a typical general-purpose computing environment. Is rendering and interacting with DVD menus different in concept than any other "draw a gui on the screen and respond to control input" app? Or does the issue have to do with navigating the content of the ISO? I guess what I mean is, how is an app that navigates a DVD menu different from, say, navigating choices in Netflix or Hulu or any other app?
