VLC for Xbox One - screen size issue

I am running VLC on my Xbox One.. I can play movies, etc..

But all the screens seem like they are zoomed in a little.

Example: the main page is bigger than the display size, like it is zoomed in. (the videos, music, browse, network page)
The top 1/3 section of the orange cone is cut off and I can only see a little bit of the orange bar at the bottom.

If I browse my media drive, I can barley see the gray bar a the bottom. There are controls there, but dont see enought to read them.
I also noticed if I adjust the zoom of a movie to get rid of the horizontal bars, on really wide movie. It zooms in too far and cuts off the top and bottom.

So, is there a way to just the display size in the app?

My display is a Samsung 1080p 50" TV.. The Xbox menus and games are all fine..
Only seeing an issue in the VLC app.

Suggestions?

Hey, I'm having the exact same problem. I am using a 46 inch Samsung TV set from 2013. As it is the case with the thread creator there is no screen size issue part from the VLC one app.

The VLC for the Windows Store Environment issue tracker is on the GitLab repo (here), you might want to post it there. I scrolled through the open issues and did not see anything matching your problem, but please make sure to search before posting.
