VLC does not use current VPN connection

Hi there.
Using VLC 2.2.2.0 in L950XL Retail Win 10 14393.576.

If user connects to Windows 10 Mobile VPN connection, VLC's "browse" does not see the smb/ftp/nfs resources.

I have Synology NAS device in my Home, to where I connect with my phone using L2TP. At home VLC can see all the shares, but when I'm using e.g. 3G data
under VPN to my home, these resources will not be visible under Browse.

When I was connected in friend's WiFi using my VPN, VLC saw only friend's resource in LAN, not mine, so this illustrates that VLC does not use system's own connection stack, but own cooked?

Testing also the 2.3.0.0 on my Win10 Mobile AU phone. Still Browser does not see my ftp/smb/nfs shares via current VPN to my LAN using 3G as bearer..

Hi.. Windows Mobile 2.3.2.0 versio will not still see LAN shares and other resources under VPN connection to it..
