White Screen

When attempting to utilize the newest version of the VLC for Windows Store (name was changed to drop the "...for Windows Store" bit), I only receive a white screen when the application is opened.



The above screen appears whether I'm starting the application from the Start Menu or when I right-click on a video file and choose to open it with the VLC application.

I've seen a few posts in the comments on the Windows Store of others experiencing the same issue. I'm trying to run the VLC application on a Surface Pro 4.
