just got a Windows 8.1 Phone (Lumia 630) at work ...
(well, it's better than the Blackberry I had before that).Anyway, was delighted to see the VLC beta (v1.2.1.4) and immediately installed it to catch up on episodes I missed (on the train to/from work). Files are on the microSD in a folder 'Videos'.
But for some reason the combination .srt subtitle / .mp4 videos (same name, same folder) that plays flawlessly in VLC on Linux/Windows/Android devices at home, is not shown ?! I can select it manually with 'open subtitle' which gives me a choice ('choose an app') of Media Explorer, OneDrive and Phone to browse the folders. Only Phone works more or less, but after finally selecting the .srt file, nothing happens ...
Any suggestions, workarounds ??
Oh, the .srt file is OK as I tried another player (moliplayer) and it is displayed just fine.
