Duplicate track listings

Just installed VLC from Windows Store, and added the folder that has my music files. When I look at several albums, I am seeing each track listed twice, like this for an AC/DC album:

01 Baby Please Don't Go
01 Baby Please Don't Go
02 Soul Stripper
02 Soul Stripper

and so on.

There is not a playlist or m3u file in the folder. I have deleted the music folder (in settings), and re-added, and I have shut down VLC and re-started.... but the issue still exists.

Any thoughts on how I might fix? Is there a registry setting or database file I need to delete to start over?

Hi pottscast,

Could you please share one of your files that duplicates? Most likely the issue is in the code and no amount of cleaning/resetting on your side will fix it.
