Constantly crashing on Xbox One

I'm sorry but unless it's just me then the VLC app for Xbox One is abysmal. I have yet to be able to use it without it crashing out on me within minutes. I am trying to play music stored on a USB flash drive while I play and EVERY single time the app crashes within a few minutes.

Am I the only one having this problem or is this just how the app works on Xbox One, i.e not at all?
