Play in background .opus

Every single time I start a song, VLC messages "This file might not play in background". This message is true. Music will stop if I do other things on the phone / minimize VLC.

My music is in Opus codec, with the standard .opus file extension.

Can we have a fix for this issue?

I have the same problem with ogg vorbis encoded files :/
hope we'll get an update for background playing soon !

Background playback for unsupported-by-Media-Foundation files will come with Windows 10 RS1 (Anniversary Update) and VLC compiled for that version of Windows, not before.
