VLC - Advance frame by frame on new iPad

Trying to find the hotkey, fn key or shortcut that allows you to move forward one frame at a time in VLC while viewing a VLC video on a new iPad. (Latest M4 iPad, latest software update.)

Lots of older posts in various forums (Reddit, etc.) say to hit the "E" key for frame-by-frame, but hitting my "E" key does nothing, nor does hitting any other single key or arrow.

Note: I am using an external keyboard the ESR Rebound 360, functions & layout very similar to Apple's latest Magic Keyboard.

We don't offer this feature on iPad so far. This is a good idea to add, though, now that it will work correctly in version 4 of VLC.

Thanks, fkushna. Yes, it seems some kind of frame-by-frame advance shortcut has been available on Windows and Mac OS for a long time, so I'm surprised a similar function hasn't been available for IOS. Especially since probably more VLC videos are being watched on iPhones and tablets than on laptops/desktops these days.

To be honest, nobody asked for it.
