Why is there no Network option for a DLNA Server with VLC 3.6 when installed on an AppleTV with TvOS 17.5.1 or earlier?

Thanks in Advance!

More specifically, uPNP servers like the built QNAP NAS server, or TwonkyServer uPNP servers. I can get the files from my QNAP NAS using Network connects, but when I play any mp3 file there is no album art displayed. I confirmed this with VLC on iPad as well: uPNP music playing shows the album art, Network music playing does not.

Thanks in Advance for any assistance/help!

Hi,

I discovered yesterday the same issue on my AppleTV 4K (A2169) running TvOS 17.6: the UPNP servers on my network are not visible in VLC 3.6.0
On another Apple TV (A1625), TvOS 17.6, VLC 3.6.0 => UPNP servers are visible

After installing TvOS 17.6.1 on the apple TV 4K (A2169): the issue is fixed, I can see the UPNP servers in VLC 3.6.0

Thanks for this detail! I upgraded TvOS to 17.6.1 on my Apple TV HD and now the uPNP servers are visible!
