Album Art on iOS/iPadOS

Is there any way to add album artwork to an album in .wav format (so, not embedded) on iOS/iPadOS? On Android, I can simply place the music and the image in the same folder for it to display but this doesn’t seem to work on the iOS version. Any help would be appreciated.
