Deinterlace mode on tvOs

Hi all,
I am using VLC on tvOS to watch live football. It is working fine if stream is in hevc because it is a progressive stream.
When it is on HD x264, there is a video issue on deinterlace. I compared with my Mac, and I think that by default VLC use blend mode to deinterlace. In VLC on mac I can change it to bob and then video is perfect, but it is impossible to do this change in tvOS.
It is possible to change it or add an option on next release enabling to change it ?

I’m a TVOS beta tester and I also would really want this to come to the TVOS version of VLC. I miss this feature very often. If someone is willing to intergrate this and it needs to he tested before it can put out. I’m able to test this as I have Beta Acces for the IOS iPhone 15 pro and TVos Apple TV 4k 3rd gen 128gb Ethernet version. Displaying it on a 2.1 HDMI supported a new high end Sony Bravia with EArc enabled audio coming out a stereopair of Dolby Atmos supporting Homepods. Able to test in SDR, HDR up to Dolby Vision. I would love to test and trouble shoot this fesature if it comes because I stream lots of 4k Hight Frame Rate 4k content via NAS. My PC. Dropbox. Or using a Network URL stream directly on the Apple TV app. I also own 2 other 4k Monitors wich can stream and display up to 144hz at a 4k resolution. Possibility to test VVR or G sync. Due to my monitors have that build in and my GPU supports it. All my displays support hdmi up to 2.1 and DP up to 1.4. 4k is displayable at 144hz theoretically. So I have lots of ways to test and troubleshoot this feature and report it’s bugs or other things. If this ever comes I will hapilly help. I got a degree in Audiovisual Technologies. So delivering corrrect feedback and understanding terms when it comes to the full process of creating and using video/audio. Feel free to ask me for any testing if needed I would love to help this community out

I am sure that this feature is already implemented in VLC sdk, because there is some payed apps based on VLC sdk are enabling to change deinterlace mode.
I think that VLC should only add it on User Interfance including in setting to change default deinterlace mode.
I can understand that UI will be complicated for commun users, perhaps in this case add experts settings !

We would need a deinterlace mode like Yadif2x or W3FDIF (Weston) for interlaced H.264 content. So far, I've only seen these modes work on MrMC under tvOS, but its support has been discontinued. Unfortunately, even the paid Infuse player doesn't have them yet; they only have the basic Yadif, which deinterlaces the content to 25P, making sports events unwatchable for me.
